I got bored today, so I went for a little drive. My car desperately needed a bath, so I hit the carwash and drove around with no destination in mind. After about an hour, I ended up in Tontitown, where we had recently moved from. It was interesting to see how much had changed in three short months. This area is growing so fast that the landscape changes constantly.
While in Tontitown, my phone died, interrupting my one-person concert. So I threw my phone on the charger and stopped to get some gas. The card reader was out of order, so I had to go inside to pay for the gas. While in there, the young lady working the register said she liked my Sublime shirt. I thanked her, and we talked about Sublime for a few seconds before the other clerk came over and said, "Hey, I love your shirt."
She began telling me how she had a guitar signed by Rome. As I left, I thought, "Man, I want to hear some Sublime now; I hadn't listened to any of their stuff in quite a while. So I got back in my car and checked my phone, it had about a 10% charge, so I started it back up and took off. A few minutes later, the phone synced up with my car and started playing "What I Got" by Sublime.
I was so freaked out that I almost turned around and returned to the gas station to tell the girls working there about what had just happened. It was the craziest thing that had happened to me in a long time.
This will be a short post because I don't have much else going on this week, but I had to write this down before I forget. I have the memory of a goldfish.
FartDump.com and the associated CMS software I've been working on that is powering this site is in a good state. There are some things I would like to implement later, but for now, I'll leave it be. I need a break from coding as I've been working tirelessly on my websites for about a year and working on the CMS for about two months straight.
As bugs show their ugly head, I will take care of them, but other than that, I think I'll be taking a break from working on the backend for a while. I still plan to blog here, so stay tuned for more of my nonsense.
